The Kresge Engineering Library is a meeting and study hub in the Bechtel Engineering Center. Our extensive collections and services support the research and teaching programs of the College of Engineering and beyond. The library is open to all researchers and visitors.

The Engineering Library is open to all researchers and visitors, with no identification, registration, pass, or prior arrangements required. Certain services, collections, equipment, or rooms may be available only to certain groups of UC Berkeley students, faculty, and staff. Please inquire at the Circulation Desk for further details.

Instruction

The Engineering & Physical Sciences libraries offer a wide variety of tailored instruction sessions. These include workshops on how to use writing tools such as Overleaf and Zotero, identifying and using geographic information system (GIS) and mapping tools, and programming for data analysis and visualization. Faculty and instructors can also request course-integrated instruction, in which a librarian teaches one or more sessions in support of an assignment in the classroom or on Zoom.
